🛡 Race boundary

Draw the water your club races on. Positions outside it are refused when they arrive — they are never stored. ← Home
Why this exists. A tracker doesn’t know when to stop. A phone or plotter keeps recording through the pack-up and the drive home, so the end of a track is often somebody’s house. For a youth fleet that is the most damaging thing we could hold, so for youth racing a boundary is required — without one we accept no positions at all.

Club

Applies to that club’s racing. Loaded automatically if a boundary already exists.

Shape

Click the map to place the centre, then drag the edge to size it. Simplest option and enough for most harbours.

Save

Changes are recorded — who changed the boundary, when, and the size before and after.

Youth events

Tick a race to mark it as youth sailing. Only the club can set this — it can’t be turned off by whoever is uploading. A youth race with no boundary accepts no positions at all.
